Vipers Hammered by Flores, Drop Game 4 to Danger
He may not do it as often as in his glory days, but José Flores showed today that he can still put on a show.

The 35-year-old New Mexico right fielder blasted the Arizona Vipers pitching staff in Game 4 of the League Championship Series at The Danger Zone today, helping the Danger move one game closer to a Federation Cup Series appearance. Flores belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice as the Danger took the 7-4 win. With it, New Mexico forced a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Had Josh Dye not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Dye hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 7-4, in favor of the Danger.

Vipers manager Alex Cumana did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Federation Cup Series."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, November 1st , 2065 at The Snake Pit in Phoenix.
