Almost There: Alabama On Cusp of LCS Triumph After 6-0 Win
The Alabama Yellowhammers got an exceptional performance from starter Tony Trejo, who silenced the Ontario offense en route to a 6-0 shutout win in Game 4 of the League Championship Series today. The Blue Pirates could never get a bead on the right-handed Trejo, who threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. The Yellowhammers now hold a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Trejo went the distance for Alabama, allowing no runs on 9 hits, while striking out 7.

"We're happy," Trejo told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

Game 5 is scheduled for Sunday at Farmers Market Stadium in Markham.
