Warhawks Bounce Resonance, 4-2
|
Behind the hitting of Carlos Arriaga, the Illinois Warhawks stopped the Washington Resonance, 4-2. Arriaga was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Warhawks. Robby Hess locked down his 2nd save. The loss makes Washington 2-3.
Eric Rigsby had a productive at-bat for the Warhawks with one out in the top of the third. With the bases loaded, the first baseman grounded out, driving in 1 run. The at-bat was important in the Illinois win.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Rigsby told the Illinois Chronicle.
