Though he had a great game, Jamie Gerdes could not single-handedly produce a win for New Jersey. Alabama won the game, 8-2. Gerdes was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ji-hoon Kim was the winning pitcher.
