Steelheads Spill Resonance, 8-3
|
Nick Annear was a major factor in the 8-3 Idaho win over Washington. The Steelheads left fielder went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Chris Biggs. He tossed 106 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. The Steelheads, now 13-7, have been red hot.
Ricardo Cobos put Idaho in front, 8-3, when he took Matt Fields downtown. His grand slam home run came with two out in the top of the eighth. It was his 5th home run of the season.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Cobos told the Idaho Daily.
