The home crowd had a good time watching the Colorado Bears and Arizona Vipers get after it.

Colorado had no answer for Arizona Vipers hurler Frank Salerno, who overwhelmed Bears hitters as the Vipers coasted to victory, 10-0. The victory makes Arizona 16-13, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2069.

Salerno was in the zone all game. He frustrated Colorado hitters while giving the Vipers 7 innings of quality work. Salerno threw 99 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Salerno.
