The Pennsylvania Railroaders got a stellar performance from pitcher Bernie Custello, who handcuffed the Maryland offense en route to a win, 4-2, at PNC Park. Lysander Kalergi finished to wrap up his 3rd save. The win has Pennsylvania at 15-16.

The Railroaders got a big hit from right fielder Iván López. In the bottom of the sixth, López pounded a 2-run home run to right. His 7th home run of the season put the Railroaders ahead, 4-1.

"I got in a good groove," said Custello. "I was getting some swings and misses."
