Fans who congregated at Outlaw Park were treated to extra-inning drama.

Despite a fine performance by left fielder Erik DeShazer, the Texas Outlaws lost to the Colorado Bears, 11-6, in 11 innings. DeShazer went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Colorado pitcher Jason Stoehr got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jon Gomez got the loss.

Colorado used a timely hit from Tim Powell to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bears ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Powell. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."

The win has Colorado at 17-15.
