The New Mexico Danger besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Minnesota first baseman Brian Sanford by beating the Mallards, 11-10, at The Danger Zone. Sanford went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The New Mexico win streak is now 3 games.

The decisive blow was delivered by José Flores in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 32-year old left-handed pitcher Jeremy McKenna to win the game for New Mexico. The home crowd went nuts.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Flores.
