Behind the hitting of J.R. Barlow, the Ontario Blue Pirates stopped the Pennsylvania Railroaders, 13-1. Barlow went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Blue Pirates. Kei-thing Xiang got the win, improving to 3-4. He held the Railroaders to 1 run on 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 3. With the win, the Blue Pirates improved to 18-19.

In the top of the first, Jesus Capistran had a big 2-run home run off Leo Evans. With the home run, the Ontario right fielder put his team in front, 2-0. He went 2 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the contest.

"Nice win for us," said Barlow. "Now we'll go after the next one."
