Bears Stumble, Lose to Outlaws
Good production from designated hitter Mike Dunfee helped the Texas Outlaws topple the Colorado Bears, 9-2. Dunfee belted 2 home runs for the Outlaws. Rob Glover earned the win for Texas. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 4-0. The third-place Outlaws lifted their record to 18-20.

The Outlaws got an important contribution from left fielder Brody Stevenson, who in the bottom of the third punched a first pitch fastball into center for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Outlaws ahead, 3-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Stevenson told the Texas Chronicle.
