Outlaws Pick Up 3-2 Road Win Over California
Miguel Castellanos, who is tied for 9th in the FL with a 1.30 WHIP, pitched well, but the California Bulldogs still fell short, losing, 3-2, to the Texas Outlaws at Meta Park at the Dog House. Russ Watson picked up the save for Texas, his 13th of the year. The second-place Outlaws improved to 28-20.

Texas used a clutch at-bat from Tyler Barbuto to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Bottom line," said California skipper Brett Williams, "we didn't play well enough to win."
