Lions Need Extras to Top Warhawks
Kentucky third baseman Roger Peck was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the Illinois Warhawks. Peck, who is tied for 5th in the FL in bases on balls with 22, went 3-5 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Lions. The Lions own a robust 30-15 mark.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Kentucky third baseman Roger Peck. In the top of the tenth inning, with no one out and a runner on 1st, Peck drew a walk to help Kentucky seize the win.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Peck.
