Yellowhammers Absorb 3-2 Loss at Farmers Market Stadium
The Ontario Blue Pirates scored a tight 3-2 win versus the Alabama Yellowhammers at Farmers Market Stadium. Ontario pitcher Danny Chavez held his own in the contest. Chavez got the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Chavez allowed 2 runs. The win elevated the Blue Pirates to 26-22.

In the bottom of the sixth inning with two out, Ontario left fielder Shane Gergen hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 3-1, Blue Pirates. For the day, Gergen was 2 for 4 with a double.
