Blue Pirates Top Bridegrooms, 1-0, Behind Quintana
|
Ontario got a first-rate effort from pitcher Jonathan Quintana, who frustrated Maryland hitters en route to a 1-0 Blue Pirates triumph at Bridegrooms Stadium. Ontario has now won 4 straight.
Quintana worked his mojo for Ontario. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.
"Jonathan was throwing strikes, locating well," said Ontario manager .
