Galassi Hits 2 home runs in Knights Win
|
The Ohio Knights downed the Pennsylvania Railroaders, 4-3. The hitting star was left fielder Tristan Galassi. Galassi was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Knights. Masashi Kashiwabara, the winning pitcher, improved to 4-4. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 9 and walking 1. Aaron Vander Wal closed the game out for Ohio, earning his 1st save.
Galassi made an early impact for Ohio when he stroked his 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the first, put the Knights on top, 2-0.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Galassi said after the game.
Ohio has now won 3 straight, while the Railroaders have lost 3 in a row.
