Vipers Edge Steelheads, 3-2
|
Behind an impressive start by Plácido Dinares, Arizona beat Idaho, 3-2. Arizona raised its record to 33-23 with the win.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when right fielder Jose Munoz, who finished 5th in the FL in OPS with .830 last year, hit a triple. The Vipers went on to win.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Idaho manager .
