The Texas Outlaws got a good effort from starter Josh Bang in defeating the New Mexico Danger at Outlaw Park. The final score was 4-2. Matt Pierce collected his 10th save. The third-place Outlaws lifted their record to 27-30.

The Outlaws got a big at-bat from center fielder Ken Huff. For the game, Huff went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave Texas a 2-1 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Huff said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
