Ohio picked up a win at Farmers Market Stadium, toppling the Ontario Blue Pirates, 5-1. Pitcher Dave Utley was one of the reasons the Knights triumphed. The winning pitcher was Utley, now 8-5. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 7. With the win over Ontario, the Knights improved to 27-31.

In the top of the seventh, catcher Phil Bartel hit a run-scoring single to right. The single, which was hit off of Adrian Trites, gave Ohio a 2-0 lead.
