The Georgia Titans topped the New York Empire, 4-1, in Patriot League action at The Empire. The standout performance belonged to Georgia pitcher and Jacksonville, Florida, native Drew Tinker. Tinker got the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Tinker allowed 1 run. Eric Yeck, credited with the save, is now 6 for 7 in save opportunities.

Ethan Wilt, the 21-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Wilt contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Georgia up, 4-1.

"It's a mindset," said Tinker. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

Georgia has a record of 28-32, placing them second in the Patriot League South.
