Kentucky and Ohio met at Huntington Park in front of a lively crowd.

The Kentucky Lions downed the Ohio Knights, 7-2, at Huntington Park. Roger Peck led the way, going 2-for-3 for Kentucky. Cris Colón got credit for the win, improving to 7-4. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. Yu-zeng Sung, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities.

The Lions got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tony Macías. For the game, Macías was 1-5. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 53rd hit of the season gave Kentucky a 2-1 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Peck said after the game.
