Outlaws Deal Steelheads 3-1 Defeat
|
The Texas Outlaws used a great performance from Dillon Nemeth, who is tied for 9th in the FL with a 7.2 K/9 rate, to beat the Idaho Steelheads, 3-1, at Albertson's Field. The win puts Texas at 40-38 this season.
Texas used a clutch at-bat from Lee Choate to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Choate called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
