The Pennsylvania Railroaders topped the Alabama Yellowhammers, 3-2, in Patriot League action at PNC Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pennsylvania pitcher Leo Evans. Jonathan Boehlke recorded the save, making him 5 for 9. The last-place Railroaders improved to 31-46.

Juan Luis Hernández dealt the Yellowhammers a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Pennsylvania leading 2-0, Hernández, who finished 3rd in the PL in extra base hits with 76 in 2060, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.

Hernández offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.
