Floundering Knights Lose 6th Straight
|
Pennsylvania Railroaders starter Bernie Custello turned in an exceptional performance against the Ohio Knights at PNC Park, resulting in a Pennsylvania win, 4-2. Pennsylvania reliever Lysander Kalergi picked up the win, upping his record to 7-6. Masashi Kashiwabara was saddled with the loss. The losing streak for Ohio has now reached 6 games.
Iván López, who is tied for 6th in the PL in total bases with 138, came through for Pennsylvania with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. The left fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 RBI.
