New Jersey got a strong outing from Juan Ramos as the Athletics defeated the Pennsylvania Railroaders, 6-2, at Johnson & Johnson Field. The Athletics bumped their record to 52-32 with this latest triumph.

Kai Metson, who is tied for 10th in the PL in total bases with 148, aided the New Jersey cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder went 1-3 with a walk.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ramos.
