Kentucky and Ohio got after it at Lions Stadium.

Brent Gatz was a vital contributor to the 7-0 Kentucky victory over Ohio. The Lions left fielder went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. Kentucky has now won 4 straight, while the Knights have lost 3 in a row.

The Lions got a big hit from right fielder Chris Bermudez. In the bottom of the fifth, Bermudez pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 15th home run of the season put the Lions ahead, 7-0.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Gatz told the Kentucky Times. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
