The Texas Outlaws beat the Minnesota Mallards, 10-1, at Dylan Park at Hennepin. Texas first baseman Lee Choate had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The Outlaws saw their record improve to 46-48.

Ken Huff, the 26-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Huff contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Texas up, 2-0.

Outlaws manager Andrew Cole had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
