Blue Pirates Get One-Run Win at Maryland
Behind an impressive start by Danny Chavez, Ontario beat Maryland, 3-2. The first-place Blue Pirates have a one-game lead in their division.

Ontario left fielder Joe Peterson changed the game in the top of the seventh when he belted a 2-run home run off Matt French. His 3rd home run of the season gave Ontario a 3-2 lead.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Chavez told the Ontario Bulletin. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
