Bridges Now 8-9 After Subduing Outlaws
|
The Idaho Steelheads and Texas Outlaws put on a pitchers' duel.
The Idaho Steelheads picked up a win at Outlaw Park, knocking off the Texas Outlaws, 2-0. Starting pitcher Pete Bridges was a big reason why. Ji-hoon Son earned his 32nd save in 32 tries.
Bridges, now 8-9, scattered 4 hits over 8 innings for the Steelheads.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Bridges told the Idaho Daily.
With the win, Idaho pushed its record to 56-45.
