Bridegrooms Stay Hot, Beat Yellowhammers, 4-3

Maryland picked up a win at Madison County Grounds, bumping off the Alabama Yellowhammers, 4-3. Pitcher Ron Dujardin was a major reason the Bridegrooms emerged victorious. Dujardin picked up the win for Maryland, going 7 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 12-5. Matt French sewed up the save, his 24th.
It could have been a different outcome for Maryland, had it not been for Dave Crawford, the three-time All-Star . Crawford contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Maryland up, 4-3.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Maryland manager .
The win for the Bridegrooms lifted their record to 59-44.
