Stone Dominant in Maryland Win
The Maryland Bridegrooms eked out a 2-1 win versus the Alabama Yellowhammers at Madison County Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Nathan Stone. He was terrific. Matt French collected his 25th save. The Bridegrooms now own a record of 60-45.

Stone tossed 91 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Bridegrooms. The left-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Stone told the Maryland Chronicle. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
