The Colorado Bears got a stellar performance from pitcher James Salkin, who handcuffed the Texas offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Outlaw Park. The win puts Colorado at 48-72.
Salkin, the winner, is now 5-15 after putting the clamps on the Texas offense. In 7.1 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while collecting 5 Ks.
