Outlaws Rally For Late Win Over Vipers
Arizona wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Frank Salerno, falling to the Texas Outlaws, 7-4. Salerno threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Matt Pierce finished to wrap up his 25th save. Texas has now won 3 straight, while the Vipers have lost 3 in a row.

In the bottom of the 8th, the Outlaws grabbed the lead on a two-out single by Lee Choate. Texas at the time was trailing 4-3, but Choate's 2-run single off Jonathan Boehlke put his team in front.

In postgame comments to the Texas Chronicle, Choate said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
