Bears Etheridge Nails Down 400th Save
As he's done throughout his career, relief standout Bobby Etheridge took the ball and got it done. The only difference - this save, which gave the Colorado Bears a 1-0 win over the Idaho Steelheads, was number 400 in his famed career. It's a milestone many dream about, but few reach, a fact that was hardly lost on Etheridge as he talked with reporters after the game.

"I think back to when I was a teenager just hoping to get my shot in this game, and never did I think I'd be saving 400 games," he said. "It's truly an honor to achieve this, and I'm proud to put my name in the record books. I'm just glad I've had the opportunity to stick in the league long enough to accomplish this."

Etheridge has accounted for 400 saves in his career.
