The Ohio Knights topped the Kentucky Lions, 2-0, in Patriot League action at Lions Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Ohio pitcher and Quebec City, Canada, native Ed Gillberry. Ohio goes to 52-72, Kentucky to 60-64.

Gillberry gave Ohio a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings.

"We played hard and won," said Gillberry. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
