Bears Sneak Past Resonance, 2-1
|
Colorado beat Washington on the strength of starter James Salkin's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. Bobby Etheridge got the save, his 26th in 29 chances. Colorado has now won 4 in a row.
Colorado used a clutch hit from Simon Lang to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bears ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Lang told a Colorado Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
