New Mexico turned a good effort from starter Éric Rossi into a win over the California Bulldogs at Meta Park at the Dog House. The final score was 4-2. Rossi, now 1-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Jeff Todd closed the door for New Mexico, picking up his 29th save of the year.

New Mexico relied on the hitting of Jon Fura to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Danger on top, 2-0. For the game, Fura had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

In postgame comments to the New Mexico Daily News, Fura said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

The win elevated the Danger to 66-61.
