Explorers Get Hard-Earned Win
The Minnesota Mallards could not turn a fine performance from designated hitter Ruben Agueros into a win. Instead, the Oregon Explorers prevailed, 5-4. Agueros went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Oregon now has a record of 73-56 with the win.

The decisive blow was delivered by Corey Wagner in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old left-handed pitcher Marc Umland to win the game for Oregon. The home crowd went nuts.

Wagner attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
