Lions Reel Off Another Win
The Kentucky Lions beat the Ohio Knights, 5-2, at Lions Stadium. Kentucky center fielder Francisco Baez had the hot bat. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Mario Garza, the winner, improved to 6-3. He held the Knights to 1 run on 4 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Lions have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

With Kentucky leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Baez hit a changeup from Masahide Hirata for a 2-run triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Lions ahead, 3-0.
