The Illinois Warhawks could not turn a fine performance from center fielder Samuel Kent into a win. Instead, the Minnesota Mallards prevailed, 7-5. Kent was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The save was credited to Marc Umland, his 6th. Minnesota has won 3 straight, while Illinois has lost 3 in a row.
