Kentucky Makes It 9 Straight with 5-3 Win
The Colorado Bears got a sterling performance from pitcher Victor Sanchez, but the Kentucky Lions still prevailed, 5-3. Sanchez threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Alejandro Pacheco claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record stands at 10-6. Benvenuto Coriolano got the save, his 39th in 43 chances.

Jose Gallegos helped out the Kentucky cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-3 with a walk.
