The exploits of left fielder Juan Cabral, who is tied for 3rd in the PL in home runs with 27, helped the Ohio Knights defeat the Washington Resonance, 6-1. Cabral slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Dani Romero, the winner, improved to 13-12. He held the Resonance to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The current losing streak for Washington has reached 4 games.

Cabral contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Ohio in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Cabral took a fastball from Jeff Grant and stroked the home run to right. His 27th home run of the season allowed the Knights to leap in front, 2-1.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Cabral.
