The New Mexico Danger downed the Minnesota Mallards, 11-4, at The Danger Zone. Anastasio López led the way, going 3-for-4 for New Mexico. Gary Lopez, now 1-1, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. New Mexico has a 3-game win streak, while Minnesota has lost 3 in a row.

New Mexico took a 7-4 lead on José Flores's 11th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Flores hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Minnesota pitcher Julian Nichols visibly frustrated.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," López said. "We did a good job of that today."
