Kentucky Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Kentucky Lions had to overcome a fine effort from Texas pitcher Jon Gomez to grab a narrow 3-2 win at Lions Stadium. Gomez went 7.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The Lions now have a record of 72-79.

Kentucky won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Matt Pierce on the mound for Texas, left fielder Nick Annear hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Lions fans to their feet.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant , the Kentucky manager.
