Kashiwabara Too Much for Bears in 4-1 Ohio Win
|
Ohio starter Masashi Kashiwabara pitched well against the Colorado Bears at Huntington Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Tim Allen was credited with the save, his 5th in 6 tries. At 64-88, the Knights find themselves in 4th place in the Patriot League South.
Kashiwabara, the winner, is now 9-13 after putting the clamps on the Colorado offense. In 8 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 5 hits, while collecting 9 Ks.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Kashiwabara said after the game.
