Blue Pirates Topple Railroaders with Late Rally
|
Pennsylvania got a valiant performance from pitcher Leo Evans, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ontario Blue Pirates. Ontario won the game, 5-3. Evans threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Billy Snow notched his 33rd save in 39 chances. With the win, the Blue Pirates have a record of 88-67.
Jose Guzman, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Guzman contributed a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Ontario up, 5-3.
