Empire Topple Bridegrooms, 9-5, as Reynoso Shines
New York left fielder Jorge Reynoso was a significant contributor in his team's 9-5 triumph over the Maryland Bridegrooms. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for New York. Matt Jordan earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. New York now sits in 4th place in the Patriot League North at 76-79.

Reynoso had a timely hit for New York in the bottom of the seventh. With Maryland trailing 5-4, he turned a 2-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 6-5, New York.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Reynoso.
