The Ohio Knights picked up a win at Madison County Grounds, knocking off the Alabama Yellowhammers, 5-3. Starting pitcher Dave Utley was a big reason why. The winning pitcher was Utley, now 13-7. He tossed 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. Tim Allen earned his 32nd save in 38 chances.

Tristan Galassi helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Ohio a 2-0 lead.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Utley.

With the win, Ohio upped its record to 90-66.
