Bulldogs Beat Resonance, 3-1
|
The California Bulldogs called upon starter Pedro Garza, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Washington Resonance, 3-1. Justin Black earned the save, his 34th in 38 tries. California has now won 3 in a row.
The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Andy Bohm. For the game, Bohm was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 27th double of the season gave California a 3-1 lead.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Garza.
