Injury Sidelines Albert Elías for Season Tuesday, August 19th , 2053 The season is finished for Albert Elías of the Oregon Explorers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Explorers reliever suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the New York Twin Towers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. Thus far this season Elías has saved 2 games. His won-lost mark is 5 wins and 2 losses with 76 strikeouts in 75.2 innings, along with a 3.81 ERA. |
